What can I say? The slim look is very cool, but also means a lack of cushioning and support. As long as you won't go on long walks or stand for long periods of time in these shoes, they are a good choice for those looking for stylish and slightly different kicks.
They do seem to be a bit long; I'm usually a 9 but these in a 9 are about half an inch longer than my other shoes, so keep that in mind.
Pros: stylish
Cons: uncomfortable

These have been my race day socks for the past year, and they do not disappoint. I'd imagine I've raced about 80 miles in these socks, everything from Track to XC to Road Running, and they have only just gotten a hole in them. They are expensive, and breaking down every 80 miles may sound extreme, but considering I only race between 1200m and 5k (depending on the season) every week, that means they will actually last a long time as race socks.
Some pros: Very comfortable socks, they are tight but it isn't at all uncomfortable, and is actually preferable. They are comfortable, breathable, they look nice, and will definitely go a long way in preventing blisters. These are great socks, and I'll probably look to buy a new pair to continue my tradition of wearing these socks every race day. The durability may or may not be a problem, but if you're okay with replacing them every 80 miles of racing or so, then go ahead and buy these.
Pros: good cushioning, breathable, comfortable

For most of my Freshman year I was training in Hurricane 10s, and they lasted me a good 458 miles before I decided it was probably time to get a new pair of trainers. Despite all of those miles, they stayed in good condition, and I run a lot on trails and snow, so that's saying something.
Anyway, after such a good experience with that pair, I decided to upgrade to Hurricane 11s, and boy am I happy with these. First off, they run a bit big and a bit wide despite what EastBay said, probably around .5, and if you have a local running store you should try them on before buying to see if the stability is good for you. I'm bow-legged and I pronate, so stability, cushioning, and support are all important for me. This shoe is good for all three of those categories, and 193 miles in they've still got it. They are a little bulky and heavy, and I rarely wear them for track workouts, but they are still good for tempo runs and anything slower.
Overall, a good and durable pair of shoes. They look nice, work well, and when these hit the 450-mile mark I'll surely come back for the Hurricane 12.
Pros: durable, good stability/cushioning
Cons: bulky even for trainers

 Nike Zoom Victory - Men's
Nike Zoom Victory - Men's
The Zoom Victory is the lightest middle-distance spike ever made by Nike. High-strength Flywire technology works to minimize overlays and maximize the strength and durability of the spike. Compression-molded Flashlon foam midsole offers a lightweight, responsive foot strike. Zoom Miler plate design provides added comfort and traction on the track. Improved TPU sharkskin delivers grip on any surface. For 800-5000 meters. Includes 1/4" pyramid spikes and a wrench. These two shoes come in separate colors for each foot: 31036670 = Solar Red right shoe/Volt left shoe. 31036430 = Blue Glow right shoe/Electric Green left shoe. Wt. 3.6 oz.

When will the 2011 colorway be available?

I'm going to buy these spikes, but I saw that a new White/Blue/Black colorway is set to be released for 2011. Those colors match my uniform, so I'd definitely prefer them. Anyway, my question is when they will be released, because I'll need them before January, when our first meet of the season will most likely be held. Do you have a rough estimate of when they will be available? Most sites are saying around mid-November, but I want to buy it from of EastBay because I happen to have a 25% off discount. Thanks.

How many pairs of socks are in one quantity?

Only one pair, and I'd suggest only using them for racing.
