I usually buy nike shoes but I wanted to try out what everyone is talking about, about the crazy lights. These shoes are horrible. Ive had them since october and they are horrible. Weve gone to alot of schools already and ive gotten grip on 2 courts but they were brand new courts. They hurt your feet and just aweful!!
Pros: lightweight, doesn't crease, durable, good ankle support, breathable
Cons: uncomfortable, poor traction, does not break in quickly

I have tried every spike nike has made and this combines all of them in one. The carbon fiber down the center makes the spikes stiff like a sprinter spike. The mesh feels much better then the previous nike victory models and fits like a glove around your foot. I had problems with "slapping" my foot in the old nike victory models but with this spike that is gone. People would think with the victory there would be no padding but I have never had such a comfortable spike on before. I like the spike plate too. Very nice having 6 spikes then 5 like the mamba's. Get this spike and your performance with go up garuanteed. Very expensive but worth it. Find a good coupon and you can get them around the normal victory price.
Pros: good traction, lightweight, durable, comfortable, breathable, color ways
Cons: price

Its an alright shoe. I think the 1st generation hyperdunks were so much better though. feel akward in the toe area. Lockdown ankle support. After a long game though it can get pretty annoying unlaceing the entire show to get it off. overall excellant choice in colors, feel, and looks.
Cons: lacing system.

Very good spike to get. super light weight and durable but the vents in the shoe tend to rip after a while. the best cross country show to get if your decieding to get these or any other pair. id def recomend these for any person. odd colors and kinda pricey though thats the only set back.
Pros: high performance, lightweight, durable, comfortable, breathable

Um got the shoes. Wore them to practice and were pretty good. Little big and little narrow. Most comfortable shoe in a while. Id say to stick with the hyperdunks though or the kobes. Pretty good ankle support. Could be better. Little bit over rated.
Pros: lightweight, comfortable
Cons: ankle support could be better, over rated slightly, good show for forwards.

Saucony ProGrid Kinvara 3 - Men's
The Saucony ProGrid Kinvara 3 running shoe features a 4mm midsole offset that helps reduce the pronation angle on impact and allows the runner to strike in a more mid-foot phase. The minimally constructed upper uses FlexFilm overlays which gives the shoe an exceptional fit and allows the foot to move through the gait cycle uninhibited. An updated design in the outsole gives the shoe more durability and the decoupled heel provides a smoother ride. Lightweight synthetic and mesh upper with Memory Foam heel pods and a HydroMAX collar lining. EVA+ midsole with heel ProGrid™ cushioning. XT-900® hard rubber outsole with Triangular Lug design. Wt. 7.7 oz.

Other Shoes?

Are these shoes much like the Saucony Powergrid Cortana 2? I have a pair of them and want another pair but if I can get a shoe cheaper I would get these.

would you recommend wearing these during cross country races? Also it says middle distance does that include the 5000?

Cross country races being, your running through grass, mud, sand, and what not
yes get them for cc races. they work great for all conditions. and i would get a pair of Nike Zoom victorys for track. the XC version is harder rubber on the bottum where the Victorys have the miler plate which is more aggresive.
