They are great shoes if you are a pretty decent thrower. I wouldn't recommend it for someone that's not very advanced in throwing yet though. You really need to be working on spinning hard, if that's not a big concern, I'd probably get the lower priced ones that are very similar to this shoes. They give you a good lift to keep you on your toes! The only problem I had with them was that they are a little small in length. I wear an 11 in women's so I got a 9.5 (and it even says on the box women's 11) and they hurt my feet some, but I didn't have time to exchange them, so I just wear thin socks. Plus they are very durable so they wont break in. Besides sizing, great shoes!
Pros: lightweight, durable
Cons: uncomfortable, too small

Technique

what is this shoe primary made for spinning or gild or can it be used for both?
In the last magazine they issued, they specified the different types of throwing shoes and it said they were spinning shoes. The other ones that are similar to this one were for both.Assuming you throw, good luck this year :)
