Jordan AJ 2012 Lite - Men's
The latest addition to the Air Jordan family -- the Jordan AJ 2012 Lite. One of the lightest shoes to hit the court to date, the AJ 2012 is destined for basketball greatness. It features an upper constructed of translucent Flywire for lightweight support and an injected foam midsole outfitted with an encapsulated forefoot and heel Air-Sole® unit for a supportive ride. Underneath the super-lightweight upper components sits a high-tech rubber outsole with a basketball specific traction pattern that caters to enduring high-wear, high-tear movement as well as flex grooves for optimal natural motion -- making for one serious on-court experience. 12.4 oz.

Bought this shoe to replace my aging Adidas Rose 2's and this shoe blew me away with how grippy and light it was. All around a better shoe than my Rose 2's with superior support and amazing comfort. Well worth the price.
Pros: breaks in easy, lightweight, cool colors, good ankle support, breathable, good traction, easy to clean, comfortable

Dress like His Airness off the court with Jordan 1 Phat. This shoe has a leather and synthetic upper with perforations at the toe for breathability. A deluxe foam package is incorporated in the collar lining and tongue to maximize comfort. It also uses a Nike Air-Sole® unit for superior cushioning in the heel. The rubber outsole with flex grooves and a concentric circular pattern adds flexibility and traction to each step. Wt. 14.2 oz.

If you dont have a pair of Jordan 1's buy these. Or even if you do, buy these. Buy these.
Pros: cool colors, durable, breathable, good traction, comfortable
Cons: creases easily

The adidas adiZero LJ 2 long jump shoe is now even lower to the ground. This lightweight track spike gets you up to speed fast for longer flights. Stable forefoot, new simplified upper, and a breathable, mono-mesh rearfoot. Welded, stitchless composite membrane with suede inner frame and SPRINTWEB overlay. Forefoot spike plate. Replaceable spikes. Wt. 7.2 oz.

Can I use this shoe for pole vault?

I compete in decathlons, and I need a shoe that can be used for pole vault as well as long jump. Also, would it be better to get the TJ shoe instead, as I'm not very experienced (only two outdoor seasons doing jumps) and the LJ shoes seem to be designed for an elite jumper (i.e. someone who can really launch off their takeoff foot with a lot of power!)?
yeah, this shoe can cover all those bases. I'd probably go with the Adidas Jumpstar though.
