Erik's Questions

Prepare for new speeds in the adidas adiZero Prime SP. SPRINTWEB seamless upper locks the foot down during the event-specific motion of high-level acceleration while maintaining a barefoot feel. Laser-welded Spaceframe in the midfoot provides maximum support and reduces bending by creating a plate that is stiffer than the actual materials used to construct it. adiZero Nano plate transfers power through the whole foot while reducing torque on the midfoot to maximize energy return. Six permanent nano-ceramic compression pins are positioned to minimize braking forces. Integrating the pins into the shoe allows the foot to be closer to the track. Recommended for 60m, 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 110 hurdles. Wt. 3.8 oz.

Size 12.5... should I risk it?

I'm typically a size 12.5 with spikes, although I occasionally have worn 12 size spikes. I'm thinking about buying these for the 100m but I'm not sure if I want to risk going down anymore in size on a shoe that I've heard is already a tight fit. What do you think?

As a decathlete, is it necessary to invest in a pair of jav shoes? Also, Im wondering why they weigh so much?
